More of Utah’s ‘dirty sodas’ are coming to the Salt Lake City airport — along with other new shops, restaurants

Swig’s renowned ‘dirty sodas’ will soon be available to travelers as soon as they arrive at Salt Lake City International Airport.

Twelve new restaurants and retail shops are coming to the airport over the next two years, officials announced Tuesday morning. The new spots include several local brands, including Swig, Moab Brewery, Monarca and Mr. Charlie’s Chicken Fingers.

Swig will join Thirst — scheduled to open this fall — in serving up sweet concoctions to travelers.

“The new airport is continually recognized as having one of the best concession programs in the country, which we have worked hard to achieve,” said Bill Wyatt, Salt Lake City Department of Airports executive director. “Keeping with the theme of ‘The New SLC,’ many of the brands and concepts selected are Utah-based to highlight the unique flavor of the state.”

The concessions are a part of Phase 4 of the airport’s ‘The New SLC’ redevelopment plan, which includes a 16-gate eastern extension of concourse B. The first five gates of the expansion are scheduled to open in fall 2025, with the 11 other gates slated to open in fall 2026, according to a news release from the airport.

Below is the full list of new restaurants included in the expansion:

• Aubergine Kitchen.

• Einstein Bros. Bagels.

• Moab Brewery.

• Monarca.

• Moochie’s Meatballs and More.

• Mr. Charlie’s Chicken Fingers.
