Could former Jazzman Raja Bell’s son be a Utah quarterback?

Raja Bell could be returning to Utah once again, only this time for a different reason.

The former Utah Jazzman, who had two stints with the team, says Kyle Whittingham and the Utes have offered his son a scholarship.

Quarterback Dia Bell, a 2026 prospect out of Florida, took a visit to Salt Lake City and received an offer. Utah joined Miami, Ole Miss, Auburn and others. BYU offered him last summer.

“SLC was always one of our favorite places to live,” Raja Bell said on social media. “So cool that Dia Bell was offered by Utah football today.”

Raja Bell first came to Utah in 2003. He played two seasons for the Jazz, averaging over 11 points per game.

After he bounced around in Phoenix, Charlotte and Golden State, he came back to Utah to finish his career. In 2011, he played in 34 games and averaged six points. He retired the next year.

Bell was first-team all-defense for the Suns in 2007.

The younger Bell is still unrated in the 247Sports composite. He’s listed at 6-foot-2.

Bell goes to American Heritage in Fort Lauderdale. The school has produced a number of NFL prospects, including former Georgia running back Sony Michel.
