Utah falls out of top 25, ending one of the longest streaks in the nation

The Utes have fallen out of The Associated Press college football poll for the first time since 2021.

Ranked No. 16 in the nation last week, Utah dropped out of the Top 25 following Saturday’s 42-18 loss at Arizona. It was the Utes’ third loss in their last four games.

Utah started the season ranked No. 14 and climbed as high as 10th in the country after a 4-0 start to the year.

The Utes’ drop this week ends a streak of 33 straight poll appearances. That was the fifth-longest active streak in the country behind Alabama, George, Ohio State and Michigan, according to The Associated Press.

Utah will finish its regular season Saturday when Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes come to Rice-Eccles Stadium.
