Utah vs. Oregon live updates: Ducks strike fast, take 7-0 lead

Utah won the coin toss and deferred to the second half, choosing to open with their defense against Oregon’s offense.

It did not go the way they hoped.

The Ducks needed less than 3 minutes to go 75 yards and into the end zone.

Quarterback Bo Nix was 4 for 4 for 58 yards, Irving rushed it once for 16 yards, then Nix took it in from half a yard out.

And just like that, it was 7-0 Ducks, with 12:18 left in the opening quarter.

The Cheesecake Factory to open a new location in Utah County

A new restaurant is coming to Orem — one that will be familiar to Salt Lake County diners. The Cheesecake Factory has announced that it’s opening a new location at University Place mall, at 575 E. University Parkway, this fall, according to a news release. This will be the upscale casual dining establishment’s first location in Utah County. The restaurant, which is known for its huge menu with more than 250 items and more than 30 cheesecakes, will be located next to Dillard’s and Itto Sushi, the release stated.
