Oscar Pistorius, South African Olympian, is denied parole in his girlfriend's murder

Pistorius was sentenced to 13 years and five months in prison for in 2017, four years after he shot and killed Reeva Steenkamp in their home, claiming he mistook her for an intruder.

The Cheesecake Factory to open a new location in Utah County

A new restaurant is coming to Orem — one that will be familiar to Salt Lake County diners. The Cheesecake Factory has announced that it’s opening a new location at University Place mall, at 575 E. University Parkway, this fall, according to a news release. This will be the upscale casual dining establishment’s first location in Utah County. The restaurant, which is known for its huge menu with more than 250 items and more than 30 cheesecakes, will be located next to Dillard’s and Itto Sushi, the release stated.
