Category 5 hurricanes are rare in the U.S. There have only been 4 in its history

A South Miami, Fla., resident makes a phone call from one of the few working phones in the area as another man waits for his turn amid the rubble of a destroyed business on Aug. 25, 1992, after Hurricane Andrew made landfall.

Such massive storms are fairly rare, and it's even more rare for them to make landfall. NOAA says that for such storms, "catastrophic damage will occur" with electricity outages "for weeks or months."

The Cheesecake Factory to open a new location in Utah County

A new restaurant is coming to Orem — one that will be familiar to Salt Lake County diners. The Cheesecake Factory has announced that it’s opening a new location at University Place mall, at 575 E. University Parkway, this fall, according to a news release. This will be the upscale casual dining establishment’s first location in Utah County. The restaurant, which is known for its huge menu with more than 250 items and more than 30 cheesecakes, will be located next to Dillard’s and Itto Sushi, the release stated.
